What happens to a ship after it sinks? (check out our 360 Footage)

Over the last 10+ years HMNZ Canterbury F421 has become an artificial reef. The wreck sits in a no take area and and attracts lots of marine life, one really impressive part of this this wrecks life underwater is that soft corals have taken over a lot of the outside surfaces.

Diving at a depth of 24m the lights pick up on this beautiful coverage. Keep watching until the end and you will see large finger sponges that collect nutrients from the one of the wrecks sunken walkways.
