Boxfish Research response to COVID-19

Boxfish Research continues all of business operations, including manufacturing, running without severe interruption during COVID-19 pandemic. We have excellent online systems and communications which allow us to continue manufacturing and coordinate activity within our team. Our phone and inward goods have been diverted, ensuring we don’t miss a call or a critical part.

New Zealand Government has established a four-level alert system against the COVID-19 spread, each level has some orders and guideline. We are actively monitoring the situation and taking the necessary steps to adjust our activities at the each level.

WORKING AT NZ ALERT LEVEL 4

Everyone in New Zealand was instructed to stay at home; schools, universities and non-essential businesses were closed and travel severely limited. Started from the 27th of March Boxfish’s business facility has been placed a four-week lockdown and our staff has all set themselves up to work from home. During this period we decided to focus on improving our software and firmware to add new features, improve integration of new cameras and sensors, and to refine our products further.

HOW WE WILL WORK AT NZ ALERT LEVEL 3

On the 20th of April New Zealand Government will make a decision if New Zealand can move to Level 3. At this level, Health and Safety of our employees should be a priority so we are currently working on developing protective measures against COVID-19 at workplace. Some of our customer orders will be available for the shipping soon after we return to the office and complete their final tests, and our live streamed demos will be available again!

We hope you all stay well and safe!
